I have had an infatuation with Airstreams for well over a decade.
I have always wanted to experience my adventures
In the compact comfort and style of a small Airstream.
If you know me you've probably heard me talk about Airstreams
I have probably been in well over a hundred Airstreams
I used to frequent a certain dealership close to my work place.
Many a lunch-hour, either alone or with friends
Was spent fantasizing, learning about, and sitting in Airstreams.
It didn't take me long to figure out what I liked
It had to be an International for the style, colors and storage
Then it wasn't long til I landed on the 16' length.
Age was somewhat important, I was looking for a fairly new one
I don't have the time, space or inclination to redo a vintage one
I had to save a wad of money and then after scouring websites and forums
I found my little Miss. I've named her Miss Perception
More about the name at a later date.
So this Canadian girl made an offer on the little Miss who was in Long Beach, CA
Offer accepted and paperwork signed and suddenly I was the new happy owner
And I hadn't even met her yet.
Now I'm getting ready for my ROMP (Retrieval of Miss Perception) 2012 Tour.
